Landrum Is proud to share our first of many driver profiles. This one is on Jeff Curl Racing  so we hope you enjoy! Jeff was a lifelong fan of dirt track racing, I got into the game later than most. At the age of 22 I married my wife Bridge…t. We enjoyed watching the races together and I started to help a friend that competed in the UMP Modified division. A year later I bought his old car and a small engine and set out in competition. It took me 6 years to even be close to the front. In 2006 I won my first ever feature at my home track in Fairbury, IL. I have kept working hard building up my program into a nightly contender across the nation since. The breakout point of my career came three years ago when I switched to Hall of Fame racer Bob Pierce’s chassis. At the same time I made the switch exclusively to Landrum springs. In 2011, I started 41 races winning 3 and finishing in the top 5 on 21 occasions. I won my first career track championship at my home track (Fairbury, IL), Finished 2nd in the UMP Summit Modified National points, 36th in the UMP Modified National Points, and 10th in the UMP Modified Regional Points. 2012 saw me start 41 races winning 4 and finishing in the top 5 on 24 occasions. I placed 2nd in track points at my home track, 36th in the UMP Modified National Points, and 10th in the UMP Modified Regional Points. In 2012 I also won my first career UMP Summit Modified Nationals feature at the Kankakee, IL County Speedway. In 2013, I started 45 races winning 9 and finishing in the top 5 on 33 occasions. I won my 2nd Track Championship at the Fairbury, IL Speedway, Finished 3rd in the UMP Summit Modified National Points, 10th in the UMP Modified National Point Standings, and 2nd in the UMP Modified Regional Standings. I won two American Modified Series features (Fairbury, IL & Spoon River, IL) on back to back nights over labor day weekend. And why does Jeff use Landrum springs? The proof of your product is in the statistics. I can’t’ thank you enough for your support of my racing career.Jeff Curl 1 Jeff Curl 2
