Precision Spring Manufacturing
- The highest grade of US made High Tensile Chrome Silicon wire is used for manufacture. This wire will maintain accurate spring rate and free length.
- Our springs are cold-wound, not hot-wound and then are properly heat-treated and stress-relieved.

What Are Tight Helix Coil Springs?
Landrum Tight Helix Coil Springs feature more coils and tighter coil spacing. This allows for a higher spring load rate with less travel. They also achieve coil bind faster than conventional springs.
Tight Helix springs feature closely wound coils for a higher number of coils per unit length than a spring with a wider pitch. This allows for a more compact design compared to wider pitch springs.

Landrum Performance Stock Appearing Pig Tail Rear Springs are for circle track and drag racing classes that require stock appearing springs which use only one pig tail hookup and don’t require use of spacers or weight jacks.
The 5.5” OD Stock Appearing Springs are available in 9” and 11” lengths and are painted black for a stock appearance. A wide range of spring rates makes it easy to find the rate you need. Springs are closed and ground on both ends to fit stock mounting points.
